In the new Gamestar there's an article about H5 again - and a video Big Grin

I watched it today, with the actual ingame-sounds O.O - Very promising imo Smile I saw two fights between haven and inferno troops in which the grid was off but the movement shadows on. So that answeres my own question about the on/off option for the grid^^
The movement sounds in battle are good - there is even a hoof-sound when the Nightmares clack their feet on the ground while just standing there Big Grin I also saw a battlefield of (I think) normal size in the mag in a screenshot - and there weren't so muich more stacks on it than in that new video from Games Con in Leipzig.

Well, tomorrow I will buy the Mag and the I think I will be able to provide some new info Smile
I will edit this thread then Wink
I'm not sure whether it will be possible for me to get the video off the dvd to upload it or sth, but I will see if I can (tho I dun think so) If not, I will try to make good captures Wink

-Dink

EDIT

Ok, here are some facts from the Mag that I think are new^^

- 3 map sizes. Actually it sais that the Above-World (Wink) is available in 3 sizes, so maybe we will have underworlds of more/different sizes?

- if you don't rotate the camera, you will only be able to find 90% of all the treasury hidden on the maps - so better get used to the 3D Big Grin

- You can move the camera in battle screens, too. In stricter limits thatn on the adv.-map but still Big Grin

-some spells:
Bless
Stoneskin
Holy Word (works against Demons here - maybe it is a spell against all evil?)
Magic Fist (cool animation)
Ice bolt

- 2 of the magic schools:
Elemantal and Holy Spells

- The Pit Fiend/Lord seems to be able to cast not only meteor storm (as seen in a prev video but allso fireball)

-Griffin has a special attack: Griffingrip (or sth) he picks the enemy unit up to drop it down. works better on slow units, faster ones tend to evade it

-if you place the cursor above an enemy unit, it shows hit-chances, aproximate damage and counter-possibilities in a window

- Quests on the Adv Map are back (quest huts, seers huts, etc maybe?)

- in the campaigns there are renderes movie sequences and some sequences in the engine (like in WC3)

- The Gamestar-guys say that the UNderworld is much cooler looking anmd full of treasures and monsters, Fabrice said that in some missions you won't see daylight at all. It will get moreimportant for the game.

- While it's you opponent's turn you will be able to send spies or saboteurs. at the start of the game turns will be more or less at the same time (I think they said befor that this is optional)

I will ost some scans from the magazine and hopefully a link to the video later/during the next days.

EDIT:

Here are some video screen captures from the gamestar video:

If anybody notices in Belgium/Holland a game magazine (in English or Dutch) with new videos, please make a post here, so that I know what to look for.

*heads off to search Gamestar* :O) Thanks for the tip Dinkster.

"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose in the Mountains of Mist. The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings or endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning."

Ok, I got mixed up with the date for the mag, I can buy it on Thuirsday, but my friend has an abo, so I have the mag itself here in front of me, only not the dvd with the movie - I will try to get it up the net for you during the next days - it has a German commentary but you casn hear the ingame music and sound Big Grin

I will now edit the new bits of info in the first post. (its not much but still^^)

Whatever...

Back on topic: I think all the info in that magazine will be available on the official site shortly after the magazine can be bought Smile or Fabrice returns from his holiday (whichever comes last Wink)

IMO this is bad ... I hoped that if i will set the adventure map view into sth like from the top (just like in h3) the map rotating will not be needed ....

Oh well ... Now I must believe that rotating will be well done and easy ...
