I've had the game since it came out and it's been working flawlessly. But I tried to play yesterday (Tuesday, April 30th) and I keep getting connecting messages and eventually unable to access the Ubisoft servers (which kicks me back out to the opening room). My Wii U keeps loosing it's WiFi connection while I'm in this game trying to play the challenges. When I exit the app, my Wii U takes a few moments to fix whatever issue the app is causing.

I've uninstalled the game and then redownloaded it and had no connection issues while downloading it. But once I was back in the game trying to do challenges, the issue came back (loosing my WiFi connection).

If an Ubisoft staff member can forward this to the tech staff, that would be much appreciated. I'd just like to be able to play the app (it's very fun and addicting). I have downloaded and am enjoying the free challenges but I do have a question. When I look at anyone on the leader boards, it tells me the number of trophies they have collected so far but it shows 4 trophies, Bronze, Silver, Gold and a 4th fancy looking one but I am not sure what this one is.

Does anyone know what this is and will there be any available on this app or is it just going to be something for the full game once it is released. There are people, like me, who bought a Wii U for the exclusives and community, and not for Nintendo's goofy controller. If Ubisoft wants my money, Pro Controller support will be included in Legends' singleplayer and patched into the Challenge App. I say that it needs to be patched into the Challenge App not only because doing so would actually make the App useful to me, but also because saying that Pro Controller support will be included in Legends' singleplayer isn't enough. I need proof, and the challenge App is the perfect vehicle for such proof.

So, you can respond in two ways: You patch Pro Controller support for singleplayer into the Challenge App, and announce on the official Rayman twitter account that such support will also be in the final game; or, you tell me to "Deal With It" and use the gamepad. If you choose the latter, you don't get my 60 dollars and I tell everyone I know not to buy Ubisoft games and; guess what, in my circle of friends/family I'm the go-to-guy when it comes to what to buy/what not to buy, and you lose out on more than just sixty bucks.

Today, Ubisoft announced that Nintendo Wii U(tm) owners can now download the Rayman Legends Challenges application on the Nintendo e-Shop for free. Players will be able to experience the Online Challenges Mode through the release of the complete Rayman Legends game. Rayman Legends will be available on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Nintendo Wii U(tm) on August 30th.


The Wii U exclusive Online Challenges App is a totally free application containing the Online Challenges Mode of Rayman Legends. In this game mode players will find updated Daily and Weekly Challenges to compete online with their friends and players from all around the world!

The Online Challenges Mode includes:

A crazy run through the Land of the Livid Dead,

Dizzying descent into the Neverending Pit,

A fast and frantic sprint through the Infinite Tower,

A synchronized adventure through Murfy's Dungeon, a challenge dedicated to the Wii U GamePad where one player controls as Murfy on the touch screen while another controls one of the classic characters such as Rayman.

The demo will also allow players to discover and improve on their Awesomeness Level, which can be increased by winning cups at the end of challenges and levels. The bigger the cup you win, the more points you will earn. Similar to experience level, players will increase their Awesomeness Level to unlock the Daily and Weekly Extreme Challenges dedicated to the most competitive Rayman Legends players. Additionally, players can collect lums during the challenges to unlock several exclusive characters throughout the game.

Rayman Legends retains the fantasy appeal of its predecessor while adding a multitude of clever and entertaining gaming modes, new characters, new environments and a new soundtrack. The award-winning team of artists, designers and composers from Origins has also returned with an advanced UbiArt engine to include multi-dimension gameplay elements, an improved lighting system and updated game rendering that elevate Rayman's graphics to the next level.
