1) I can kill anything by using QTE except bears. Is there something I'm missing?
I'm doing, or trying! to do the hunting club 'Man-eater.'

2) How do you perform a 'Predatory Move' on a branch or similar, with a rope dart, by using the keyboard? I can use them in combat, from a roof, but can't figure out the predatory move.

Not sure which sequence/memory it is on but you need to race across rooftops in 1 minute and go through 11 checkpoints. Fast and reliable these vessels could outrun any ship of its time.
Problem is; these vessels werent developed untill around the late 1700s early 1800s.
The game takes place in 1715. As you can see tbat is still almost 100 years from development.
