Not sure if this has been posted yet but does anyone know what the second dial on the indicator is? There's a beige one and a white one.

I figured one is indicated airspeed and the other may be calculated true airspeed, or maybe its the calculated stall airspeed to serve as pilot warning, not sure. The militant radical Me~262 fundamentalists here would know.

Apparently not!

I thought also that it might be airspeed through engine nacelle so that you can see if there's turbine stall????

I thought the second dial is for MAASI (maxium allowable airspeed indicator ) or it could be the true airspeed indicator .

One hand is IAS (<= 300 kph) then the other hand takes over to True Airspeed (above 300 kph).

Good guess - no it isn't - try diving in a 262 Big Grin - the TAS is the other one - the one that stays below...

No answer yet...

I only look at RPM in a 262 Wink 4000 for taxi
then 8000 for take-off / flight Wink - it works for me Big Grin

The white needle is the broken IAS guage, and the tan needled is the broken TAS guage.

Both should be fully functional and this has been pointed out countless times, but Oleg doesn't give a rats a$$ about it and won't fix it. It's been like this since IL2.

The He-162 is the only LW jet that has the ASI that work properly.
