I don't understand it. I hear R2 is at 99 on IGN's 100 greatest games ever. I actually go to the site to see what they said about it...and for some reason Rayman 2 is actually at 67 in the top 100! What's going on?
Interesting fact: If you look up top 10 PC platformers on Gamefaqs, Rayman 2 is still at the #3 slot. In fact, it really shows the amount of crap that's been shoveled on since then, since after 8 years, a lot of the games still haven't been topped or replaced.
IGN's top 100 is rubbish. They completely change their opinion every year. For example, Super Mario Bros. was first one year, and something like 80th the next. With IGN's top 100, you should look whether a game made it on the list, not what place it is, because it's very inconsistent.

Of course I'm pleased that Rayman is getting the recognition he deserves(or some of it, at least), but I just don't understand how he could make this kind of jump. Has R2 somehow gotten...better? Or have a whole lot of games gotten worse? Or perhaps IGN fired all their reviewers and hired different ones...
Whatever happened...it's a good thing for everybody on RZ.
