Hey guys. I figured it was about time we made a FAQ-thread here so that we don't have to answer the same questions over and over and over and over...

I’ve been digging up questions from the first two pages of this forum, and will go further back later... I'll fill this one in as I find good questions, and more importantly, good answers...

Rayman 1 does not run on my Windows 2000/XP/Vista. Can it be fixed?
Your system is too new, so you would have to run it under DOSBox...
There is also an unofficial, fanmade patch, but because of its unofficial-ness I can’t link it here, ladida~

Where can I post my Rayman 3 score and participate in the Lum’s Quest?
The Lum’s Quest is unfortunately not working anymore. If you want your score on a leaderboard though, they have been recreated over at RaymanPC.


The PC-version of this game freezes or wont work or whatever.
XP-users: The PC-port of this game is horribly glitchy, and an official patch to fix this has never been released.
If you have King Kong installed on your sysem, there are some files or something in these that conflict and might break both games.

Vista-users: (copy-pasted from RaymanFanpage, who copy-pasted this from Ubisoft Solution Center...)
“We (Ubisoft) currently have no PC titles that are officially supported under Windows Vista.
Most of the games in our present catalogue were created before Windows Vista was released.
If the game does not list Windows Vista as a supported operating system, Ubisoft cannot guarantee full compatibility with Windows Vista. You may be able to get older Windows XP games running in Windows Vista by using the compatibility mode option.

Once the game has been installed:

1. Find the game icon listed in your games directory.
2. Right click on the game and click on Customize. This will bring up the
customize menu.
3. Select Play.
4. Select Edit.
5. This will bring up the Properties screen. Click the Compatibility tab.
6. Check 'run in compatibility mode' and then choose Windows XP or whatever
operating system the game was designed for.
7. Press Apply then press OK. You will be back at the customize menu.
8. Close the customize screen.
The game should now be configured to run in Compatibility mode.

No, it's not freeware. It cost thirty silver shekels. And you can download it at google.com.

um if the lums quest isnt working how do I get my ranks up?

Ranks don't work anymore either... The RaymanPC-forum has a system that is similar to the old ranking system though, in some ways.
