I cant start Lockon. Only loaded it today.
It comes up with above message.
I have a graphics card with DirectX 9.0
I havent trying turning off Norton AV.

Any ideas????

What version of Lock On did you install?

Did you install any patches?

What operating system are you running on?

Yesturday, game was running fine, even got the headtracker to work nice and smoothly.

Today, this daft error.

I'm running LOMAC Gold 1.0 without Flaming cliffs installed (Had some issues with that)

Specs:

Intel Core2 Q6600 Quad @ 2.4Ghz
4GB DDR2
nVidia 8800GT 512DDR3 @ standard clock (with latest drivers etc)
Windows XP SP2

I've had the issue with other games/sims before, but they ended up sorting themselves out before I bothered looking into it.

try installing the C++ librairies , then if the problem persists it may come from a program conflict so try uninstalling one by one the programs you installed recently . I had this problem once couldn't start Paint shop pro i uninstalled a program unfortunately don't remember it's name then everything went ok
