My friend and I recently have bought lomac and have a few questions about the online menus, etc. If he were to host and start the game (using the ubi server software) I would show up as "unknown" and only be able to be placed in the spectator box. He would have his gamertag viewable but we both could not select what side (coalition) we wanted to be on. Any help as to how to setup a game online would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Also, him and I have downloaded the 1.02 patch for the game at ubi.com. When I'm online and check to see what version my game is it says "undetermined" and so does his. Could that have anything to do with what's going on?

If you are showing up in the spectator box, than you have a proper connection. What has happened is that the host has either:

..Not selected the mission to be flown

..The selected mission is not a properly configured multiplayer mission.

To test- start a session and use one of the canned, pre made missions in the multiplayer folder.
