I have had LOMAC 1.12b installed for some time now and have loved it. I have Modman as well and have several mods installed (many thanks to the groundpounder team btw and to Ironhand as well for all his efforts).

I have a new Duel Core 2.6 box, with 2 gigs of memory and an 8800 E GeForce card.

All was working until I tried to install a new mod. After the install I tried to run the game and got an error stating "Activation Expired". I tried to "reactivate and or re-register" LOMAC, but nothing worked.

So I tried to remove the program and start again by re-installing the software. This failed to work, and now I seem to have two partial copies of the software on my machine (Lock On 1.1 and Lock:On Modern Air Combat).

Going to ADD/REMOVE software in my control panel and attempting to remove them I get -
Lock On 1.1 - (Installation log is corrupted)

Lock:On Modern Air Combat - (Error Loading C:|Program ...\Run Time\ ...\Ctor.dll The specified model could not be found)

All my attempts to manually remove the software will not allow me to load it as the game is apparently still loaded (in two places) and my attempts to remove it by using the UNINSTALL fuction of the game or the ADD/REMOVE function of the control panel have not worked.

Anyone have any thoughts or be able to point me towards a freeware program that will allow me to clean these pieces of software and begin again.

Thanks much in advance.

Whats the difference between mechanical engineers and civil engineers ? Mechanical engineers design weapons and civil engineers design targets.

Download.com is where you want to look. You can sort by CNet Editors ratings and Users ratings.
I can't recommend any specific program but Im sure you know to make sure you have a current Restore point before you go in and make any changes to the Registry.
Good luck.
