i have lockon patched to flaming cliffs,
and i have a good computer p4 3.4 with an ATIx850xt 256 videoram.

the thing is that sometimes im flying a mission
with 40 fps and all of the sudden it turns in to a slide show, it dosnt matter where i am.
i mean it gows to 2 - 4 fps and i have to escape out of the mission and restart.

anyone experienced this?

Do you have a virus scanner running in the background? Have you done a spyware scan?

no i turn all that stuff off before i fly.

I've an nVidia 6600GT and I turned off all anti-virus stuff before flying.

Any suggestion?

could be overheating. if you're overclocking try knocking it back a few mhz.
