Hi guys, whenever i join a multiplayer server and try and join a coalition there is no country to join and the button is blank. It does this on every server.

I have been playing lock on for almost 2 years now and have not had any problems playing. I recently formatted my hard drive and have had to reinstall Lock on Gold. I have installed the patch and still no luck. Can anyone help?

What version are you running? 1.02 ?

If you are joining through hyperlobby- you can bet that all servers are running 1.12 unless they SPECIFICALLY say otherwise. You must be on the same version as the host.

Ubi.com- no idea. Always been kind of a joke.. But if you know the IP of the server- you can just enter it manually.

I just saw the lock on gold- install both disks, and then patch (for free) up to version 1.12b. You'll be ready to go in hyperlobby after that- unless you have a router. If you are behind a router- you may have to configure it to fly. (forward ports/ IP)

Yeah, im on hyperlobby and i am on 1.12a and i still don't see what the problem is. Its pretty annoying.

Konkussion, I've been having the same issues and I started playing last week. Buttons halfway work. Cannot create a room anyone con come into, but I can join them all!! Duhhhh, Whats with that do you think?

I use regular Lock On V 1.02 Heck I even tried Flaming Cliffs on hyperlobby accessed the group rooms okay but could not get into the games. there...

Beats the heck out of me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled at least 12 times!

I think you are behind a router. You have to configure it to join & host. I don't have one, so I can't help much other than bits & pieces Port number 10308 on both UDP, and the other type.. whatever that is.. Run it in DMZ mode

No. my main desktop is directly connected to my bellsouth modem, the laptop is wireless which is built in to the Bellsouth modem as well.

I just talked to my buddy in London who runs the LO Gold, and he tells me there is nothing fancy or frilly to do to get it working and that it's all done on the ubi.com server automatically...

He sent the steps to create a room to us via email with all the screen shots. Very simple, so then why doesn't it work is the million dollar question?

All he does is:

1) Open the software
2) Select NTW Network Play
3) OK for internet
4) Hit the UBI.COM button at the bottom of that screen
5) Click the Lock On link in the lobby
6) Select Create Room
7) Name the room, number of players, hit OK
8) Click Start and it works!

Thats what I have been doing. My AGV Firewall is set up to allow connection to UBI, as is the Lock On software. I don't know what else it could be. When I do those steps above, it actually shows me connected, and I can see guys trying to get in, but they can't so they leave.

I tried it at home with both my computers and have the same problem, all I get is the MAP page, no coalition set-up page like you are supposed to get. And it shows both my computers in the room.

I can connect here at home with my two computers using my IP addresses, which is easy, and both my planes or on the ramp. But I cannot get the ybi.com server to work...

That pretty much explains the whole deal konkussion. Maybe after reading this it will ring a bell for you. I sure would love to get a room working of my own!
