so this is a new one by me. playing just now, i completely lost response from all controls except my joystick axes. no buttons on the keyboard or joystick would work. happened at a really bad time too. i was on final approach, and my landing gear wouldn't deploy. after i crashed, hitting escape to leave the mission didn't even work. had to ctrl-alt-del out. is this common with a fix or an unheard of freak occurance?

this is becoming a steady problem. i have a sneaky suspicion that the SST may be involved.

Are you taking over during a track playback, or playing a mission that was originally made in an older version?

neither. i'm running 1.02, have a **** FC cd. first time it happened in the f-15 quick-fly mission, since then it has happened in the f-15 campaign. a couple times it happened it was after using the aux slider on the x45 (set for cannon rate of fire and flaps), i don't remember the circumstances for the other couple. i don't see why that should cause a problem though. i assume there are many people who use the aux slider without issue.

Actually- there is a BIG issue. The AUX switch CONTINUOUSLY sends the command to which it's programmed. This is why you have to leave one of the 3 positions unmapped- so you can apply the command and then return it to the blank spot where it will not interfere with anything else going on. I recommend you map something not used/ needed during the entire flight- like starting & stopping engines or something like that.
