I'm a new user to lock on, and have a problem trying to fire a missile or release bomb. for air to air combat i hit 6 and press d to cycle through weapons but when i go to fire i press the space and the cannon fires. im using the keyboard not a joy stick. since owning the game i have become a good dogfighter because i can only use the cannon. Any ideas?

Use the Enter key - it's the command for the release of bombs and firing of missiles.

As warlock_77 said, try the ENTER button.


Patch v1.02 changed the US aircraft only(F-15 and A-10) to make them more like the real-life aircraft, ie a seperate fire button for cannon and seperate releae weapons button for bombs, missiles, rockets.

So any version of Lockon you use that is v1.02 or later, you need to know this.

Russian aircraft are not affected, for them the spacebar (and the joystick button mappped to fire) does everything...
