Whenever I adjust the weather settings in the mission creator, I can't set the cloud density to higher than 8 without getting a CTD when I actually fly the mission.

Another problem I have is with my controls: after flying for about five minutes or so, the aircraft seems to want to level itself out, thus killing my maneuverability. This is the only sim in which I have encountered this problem, so it isn't my joystick.

Has anyone else encountered a similar problem and if so, is there any way to fix it?

Concerning the weather some say it's a bug personnally i don't think so as Lock on's a very good and nicely made game . Try to update your .NET framework stuff (in general it solves the problem) , if you still encounter problems try to set down the graphics setting or to optimize your rig indeed i noticed CTD were mainly due to insuffisant memory (sometimes caused by bug) the more ressources you'll have available the more chances you'll have to run your game at high settings
