after installing patch 1.02 i can't use the mouse in the cockpit now. I've tried editing the View.lua and view.cfg but i can't get it to work again. Does anyone know how to fix this. I'm using Vista.

If you are getting an error along the lines of "action denied, blah blah permission, etc"

First- make SURE you run LOMAC "as admin"

second- turn off UAC's. Ignore all the dire warnings of global famine, asteroid strikes, and impotence if you do not turn them back on.

third- in windows explorer, highlight the ENTIRE Lomac folder, right click/ properties and de-select the "read only" radio button.

If all that fails- copy the .lua file from the lock on folder, and open it separately in notepad. Make the changes (cockpitmouse "true") and save it under the EXACT NAME as the lock on folder. Copy this file to your clipboard.

Then reopen the lock on folder, delete the one you see in there, and paste your edited file in there.

You may want to make a backup of the original one somewhere, at least until you have it working properly.
