I did not play any flight simulator for a while so I thought I would try Lock On.

I do not have a joystick. I thought this would not be a problem since I played other flight simulators with a keyboard before and it worked fine.

However, the way Lock On does it is a bit unwieldy. When I press the down arrow, it pulls the lever (I am not sure what the accurate english word is, sorry.), but it stays that way even after I release it! I have to press the up arrow for it to come back to the center.

I looked around to find out how to change it, but I am beginning to wonder if that is even possible.

Is there any way to get it to behave like in older flight simulators, where pressing an arrow key had the effect of pushing the main command in that diirection, and releasing it made the command go back to the center?

I would also like it if there was a way to make it move faster.

You need a stick. The keyboard is not going to allow you to precisely manage the flight surface controls.
