S! fellow pilots,

I'm having this weird problem while flying online: I start with an avg of 30-40 FPS (after installing the FPS mod for 1.12b) but in the middle of the mision or when I look on certain directions my FPS will gradually decrease to 10-15 (or yet lower) and won't recover even if I land and takeoff again.

I've been told this problem is related to wreckage and destroyed planes beeing kept during the whole mission, and been adviced to exit an re-enter the mission to recover FPS... It worked! but the they started to drop down again after just 5 minutes!

My question is: is there a way on some *.cfg file to tell the game not to keep track of those wreckages and other useless objects? I truly find silly keeping there and rendering objects one will barely or never see...

My specs:
Athlon Sempron 3100+
GeForce6600GT 256 mb RAM
1GB system RAM
Maxtor 120G HD
Game settings set to medium-low on graphics

Any help would be really much appreciated

anyone has a clue on the above subject? it's still happening and i couldn't find any place to deactivate the keep the records thingy... would it help adding another GB of RAM? can that solve my problem?

I had 1 GB of ram, which was fine in SP. but when I started to fly online, I had lots of FPS lost and stuttering, added another gig of ram. Now flying pretty

have u guys ever thought about lowering your graphics in the game? you can get better frame rates and smoother game play. i always play on lower graphics,the game play is most important to me.

Red_Devil007: as stated in my post in the specs area I'm already using med-low graphics!

Problem is that everything is ok on the first mission but as I land or respawn my FPS will die, simply as that if I could turn off that stupid tracking of useless objects I'd be able to fly on good FPS...
