So, I got myself a X52. (the normal version, not pro)

But I have come acsross major difilcuties.
Lock On does not register the vertical axsis on the joystick. Also, any profiles I set up in the profile editor DON`T WORK! And not just in lock on, in any program or game. I have also downloaded drivers from the Saitek site, but they dont make anything better, just uninstal the profiling software. I have tried instaling everythin numerous times, but nothing seems to work. I`m just an inch away from throwing the whle god damn thing trough the window.
So, any ideas?

I am running winXP, SP2
gForce 8800GT
Intel core2duo 2.00 GH

EDIT: I just remebered to try it with orbiter, and the rudder works perfectly, so there must be a problem with Lock On. Or the profile software

well I managed to enable teh profiler, so I have already set up a profile wich suits me (needs a bit tweaking but thats all), but the rudder still doesn`t work.
Also the stick recalibrates itself during some heawy manuvering, so now the plane is constantly rolling left!

i already checked that.
The thing is that the game does NOT recognize the third joystick axsis! I can only chose from the two joystick and one throtle axis, but I can˛t chose the third one on the joystick

Is your joystick good? Try a differnt game or try assigning that profile somewhere else... just to see. Dont get too frustrated. Sometimes you just got to walk away for a while. We'll get you sorted man

i solved the problems by instaling the beta drivers and software from te saitek site, or at least a part of it. The rudder still didnt work. But the solution was staring me right into my face: the third joystick axsis was labeld as rotary2. So everything works now.
