I fly LoMac and I want to buy FC. But I have found some problems wich appear in both LoMac and FC demo.

1. I do not know what version of LoMac I actually have. On the Main Menu screen, dowm right corners is written v1.01. When a open Mission editor and go to "About" in menu, it shows v1.0.
Well, I tried both patches 1.00 to 1.02 as well as 1.01 to 1.02.
Both shows following problems:
- I can´t start the flight when in window mode
- I can start flight in full screen mode. But some keybord keys dont work at all, some joystick bottons dont work at all.

2. The MAIN PROBLEM is that I can fire nothing but canon. I have selected Maverick, target locked.
But canon fires instead of Maverick. The same with any other missile or bomb.
It means I can not use LoMac with pacth.

Well, I downloaded FC demo, decided to buy it after test.
Unlike LoMac, I can start the flight even in window mode. That´s good.
But same problem with firing when I fly one of two in-demo available planes, A-10. I CAN´T FIRE NOTHING BUT CANON.
Again: selected Maverick, target locked, but canon fires.
SU-25 looks to fire properly. But in both planes some keys and buttons dont work. "L" for cocpit illumination,, zoom in-out ( "*", "/" ), Ctrl-R for refueling, joystick buttons for up-down trim... (that is what I´ve found upto now)

I was eager to buy FC with all exellent improvements and features but I´m affraid to do so now.
Has anyones met some problems like I did? Anyone can hlep me? Thanks

US Airframes have 2 different triggers.
SPACEBAR (firebutton) for cannons
ENTER (Release Weapon)for missiles

Unlike Russian birds who have all on the Fire-button

Its all written in the manual (i allways recommend reading it) located in your
C:\Programs\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Doc - folder

Does it mean that releasing missiles in US planes is impossible to assign to joystick button? I tried, but...
And what about other keys? "L", Ctrl+R" - and specialy up&down trim? Any advice?

The release weapon issue just solved. I found the way to assign it to joystick button.
But not working up&down trim - still can not find solution (does not work from keybord neither from joystick buttons) as well as "L" and "Ctrl+R" shortcuts.

You dont say which country you live in. A problem some folks have is that the keyboard for their country is different, so the keys listed in the manual (which assume a USA keyboard I think) are not the same on their keyboard. This might possibly be a reason for some of the keys not working for you.

You say that you applied both patches 1.00->1.02 and 1.01->1.02, maybe this messed up your installation?

The correct way to see the Lomac version is from the dials in the right corner.
Most Lomac CD's were v1.00, but some later CD's were actually v1.01, perhaps it would be best to uninstall Lomac, reinstall from the CD, check which version of CD you have and then apply the correct patch and see if that makes a difference.

Thank you. Now I know that my Lomac is v1.01.
I did not install both patchem at the same time. I installed v1.0->1.02 first. There ware problems described before. Than I re-installed Lomac and installed patch v1.01->1.02. The problems were exactly the same!
But I don´t mind this anymore because I want to buy FC and my problem is FC now. I just thought that there could be some connection between problems in Lomac patches and FC demo problems.

Regading idea of keybord - I´m from czech republic and use czech keybord, but there is no problem with keybord shortcuts or joystick buttons with original Lomac. Trim, "L" and "Ctrl+R" work perfectly.
But with patches or in FC demo these keys don´t work. I would like to solve these problems before I spend money for FC.

You are right, sorry. My joystick is Speed Link Black Widow and I use ingame configurator. Do you think that joystick could cause "Ctrl+;" or "L" key malfunction in FC demo? As I have written before in original Lomac everything works good.
Or maybe FC demo works wrong way and in full version will be ok.

I noticed another thing - when I want to release bombs in A-10 the pitch makes about -45 degrees to get solid line (in FC). In Lomac it is about -15 degrees. I wonder what is correct.
