I'm not having a great deal of luck with these forums/threads etc. I'm new to LOMAC - yes it's 2008 and I only just got it! 2 questions, at least for now...How do I record a sequence that I can playback and watch??? In easy parlez please, and finally, using a Microsoft Sidewinder Pro, when trying to land (as i've slowed down obviously) the nose bobs up n down wildly and my joystick becomes ultra-sensitive??? any suggestions PLEASE!

You can record a track and play it back by:
Ctrl+R to start the flight- instead of the FLY button. Make sure you are ready to go (weapons & fuel correct, etc)- like in the payload screen. At the conclusion of the flight- you will be asked to save the file and have an opportunity to name it. Do so and click save or OK at the bottom. To playback- from the main menu: replays button find the track you want to see fly As far as the nose porpoising- you are on auto pilot- ALT hold mode. This is typical when taking over in a track. The indication for this mode varies by plane. Which one are you flying? |

You are in the Su-27, you can see if you have any autopilot modes switched on.
Your SPO-15 radar warning receiver is situated bottom right of your instrument panel. Above it are a block of rectangular indicator lights, a stack of 6 lights, a stack of 5 and a stack of 2. If you have full autopilot ON, you should see the bottom of the 6-stack lit green AN, and also the bottom of the 5-stack lit green ABTO. Press A to toggle full autopilot ON/OFF. If you have Altitude hold ON, you should see the next to the bottom of the 6-stack lit green NPNBEA K rOPN3. Press H to toggle Altitude hold ON/OFF. If you have speed hold ON, you should see the bottom of the 5-stack lit green ABTO. Press J to toggle speed hold ON/OFF. You may need to retrim the aircraft after switching the autopilot off, press CNTRL/T to quickly do this. Obviously I don't have a Russian keyboard, so the text for those indicators is the nearest I can do on my UK keyboard. Su-33 indicators are identical to the Su-27. MiG-29 has its indicators as green bulbs in a small panel to the left of the landing gear indicator. If you try out each autopilot function you will see which lights come on. In the A-10, you see PATH HLD in the HUD for full autopilot and ALT HLD in the HUD for Altitude hold. Dont fly the F-15 much, so cant help you with that. Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum.... |

Unfortunately in the F-15 you get absolutely no AP indicators what so ever! Wonder what the real F-15 offers in terms of AP and AP indicators. |
