I'm running Intel 965GM Express graphics and I cannot see my cockpit. before that I was at a point where I could see the cockpit, but not the terrain. Has anyone gotten the Intel graphic cards to work?

Those things are not qualified to run in public libraries, let alone to play LockOn.

Sorry but there's really nothing much you can do about it, I know how you feel btw, I used to be stuck trying to play games with an SiS chipset.. lol.
Even if you could get it up and running by turning off pixel shaders or going through a series of fixes, it wouldn't be worth it. That's not the way this game is meant to be played, it probably wouldn't even be playable.
Hell, I'm surprised you could actually run LockOn with that chipset.

The only thing I could recommend is to go out, spend a $100 and get yourself a low-mid range NVidia card.
Their dirt cheap and worth every cent, something like the 7800GS/7600GT/8600GS.
