Good morning all,
Having just successfully installed this profile in to LOMAC in XP :- ---------- 3 Profiles: Su-27-33 Mig 29 Su25 - 25T F-15 A10 These profiles are made for x52 SD6 driver with (.pro) profile.... they dont work for x52 standart with ending (.dat) How to use: (Made for use with TrackIR - no headswitch function) Put the profiles in your folder where your the software loads them. and put Keyboard.ini ... in Lockon/Input folder (backup the original) ..... profiles are based on this keyboard.ini . Its called keyboard.ini but if you dont have a englisch version of Lockon just reanme keyboard.ini...to xxxxxx.ini in your language. the only thing you have to ingame ..is assiging your axes (yaw, pitch, rudder ) AND ....the ministick on thruttle as target-designator you do that by selecting device MOUSE in input settings lockon ....and assigne the axes (mouse = ministickthruttle) to TDS horizontal and vertical. trimm rudder is small rotator on thruttle .....radar elevation is big rotator on thruttle (ingame axes settings) thats it....enjoy to see how profiles are logically made up ..open them in profileditor and watch PS: dont wonder if u chaff or flare ..just one if pressed short....and in sequence if hold longer...its already made like this in profiles ,) ----------------- I find that the stick doesn't do any of the commands that are assigned to them. The commands show in the green panel on the throttle stick of my X52 Pro when any corresponding key or button is pressed, but nothing happens There's NO assignments showing in the editor Can anyone tell me what to do to sort out this issue please, Cheers, icy |

What's the purpose of changing out the keyboard.ini ?
Generally you don't need to mess with the keyboard assignments, unless you want to change a default command to eliminate a conflict of some sort. (LOMAC's F12-static objects view -conflicts with Teamspeak, and the centering key on TrackIR's) AFAIK- you clear all BUTTON commands assigned by LOMAC to your STICK Set your axis' (pitch, roll, rudder, thrust, etc) Either create your profile in SST, or paste a downloaded profile into the saitek\software folder. Activate the profile- used to be with the icon in the bottom tray. That's it. I see no reason to replace keyboard.ini unless this guy has changed all kinds of key commands- which is not real smart. Read through this and see if it helps. http://konkussion.proboards60.com/index.cgi?board=x45&action=display&thread=17 You might want to use the "default key" to restore everything back to factory. If that does not work- you'll have to reinstall lomac. |

Thanks for that
secondly - how do I know if the keyboard.ini is in the right place (I copied it to Input & it is visible in the folder) - but was there one there originally !! thirdly - everything is the same as in my first post except that, the profile is now showing in the profile editor Again - the profiles show up in the activation list (even OTHER profiles), as does the specific joystick in the dropdown list & the icon in the tray turns green when activated. fourthly - to clear LOMAC stuff, do I just click CLEAR PROFILES in the manager. Thanks for your assistance, icy |

AFAIK- as far as i know.
Try using the default button in the lomac options/input screen. I'm hoping that it restores your keyboard.ini to the original. If not- you may have to reinstall. At any point in the installation of the X52- did you deny the installation of any driver- like "magic mouse/keyboard"? I'm on our squadron's TS channel now. I can't really get a clear picture of what's wrong here on the forum. If you read this- get on it and tell me what's going on.
