OK, re-install went well....joystick profile nows seems to be working. Whenever I input the command to trim elevator the top green light goes out....however, it doesnt seem to be trimming the aircraft. I always seem to be fighting the stick and no matter how many times I adjust the trim the plane will either keep climbing or descending regardless of how much opposite trim I use.
Ctrl+T does seem to reset the trim (all lights back on) for those aircraft that uses this function.
Even assuming the trim may take a sec or two to adjust it isn't doing anything.....am I missing something here?

the constant adjustment of trim is mostly a normal function of flying.

this is MORE than a constant adjustment of trim.....at NO point can I ever let go of the stick.....I cannot achieve level flight unless I "cheat" and press the 'H' key....lol

[edit] I must be missing something. I never had this problem when I played 1.02. The stick mapping is fine (ctrl+. and Ctrl +; and ctrl+T)
the green lights in the RUSFOR aircraft go on and off when I use the trim commands.
But the aircraft does not trim or level out. USFOR planes have the same issue.
I dont think this is a stick issue (I swapped out my X45 and tried my MSFF2 and it does the same thing) It has got to be a game setting or something.
Can the mouse be interfering?
Can the mouse be disabled/enabled?

problem solved....
I changed the FF setting from 'true' to 'false' in the producer.cfg file....as per the Sticky post "quick workaround for joystick troubles"

I had ignored this post earlier since I was using an x45 but after re-reading it I noticed that this was an in-game setting that was causing conflicts whether a user had a ff stick or not.....

I am having serious issues after my install of LOCK On - GOLD version software.

I bought this like few days ago and have installed both disks that came in the package for (USA) version ...next I downloaded the patch 1.12a (I got the link from this forum).

When I start the game (with or without the CD), I get as far as the main menu and then to the training screen...however, after I choose to "Fly" a plane, after loading, i get a glimpse of the cockpit or the plane and then I get the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH, followed by a reboot of the system!

I have not been able to load and fly any plane or any training mission on this simulator.

My computer has Core 2 Duo and uses XP, with 2G of Ram and shared memory upto 256M...I dont think hardware on my laptop is any limitation....

Can anyone help here or have seen or heard of similar issues after installing LOMAC on a computer???

i hve used the Slider 1 ( silver knob for your left thumb ) for trimming a long time now, and it works like a charm, smooth and easy.

FUGGEDABOUDIT!!

I have lockon flaming cliffs bought retail couple of years ago. I tried a mod the other day and messed up my graphics cfg file and reinstalled the game. Now starforce wants me to activate the game. I have the orginal disck and I do not remember the retail version ever having a cd key. Any help? thanks
