Hi i dont want to sound like one of the many disgruntled 'I've had enough brigade'...but the truth is am very frustrated with the continual locking up and pc just hanging/freezing whilst running the excellant Flight sim 'Flaming cliffs'...

I have installed patch 1.12a for XP and for some unkown reason during about 2-10 mins of a mission my pc just hangs with no way out but to hit the reset button on my pc...

My specs are:
intel duo duel core running at 3.32ghz
2gig of corsair matched ddr2 ram......
nvidia gforce 8800gts 320 meg vid card with 169.21 forceware driver....

Am running Flaming cliffs at 1920x1200 on a 24in flat screen at full max detail with mirrors on med......

The sim runs and looks great but i havnt been able to play it for more than 5min or so without it locking up and crashing all the time...

i never had this prob with lockon before installing 'Flaming cliffs'....


If anuyone has had a similar problem and have found a solution that works i would be very gratefull..

These forums are very quiet these days. UBI baled out on Lockon aftr patch v1.02 so you would do better to post over on the ED forums which are still lively.
