Apparently some bright minded developers thought it was an excellent idea to disable the "Return to neutral" feature for keyboard pilots.
Well I find that the stupidest idea of all flying as doing precise movement and even having a predictable plane movement just gave the mathematical 0. My question is, can this be reenabled in any way except degrading version and attempting to live with the crashes? Presently it is just a renamed trim control. |

Apparently some bright minded pilot thinks it's an excellent idea to fly on the keyboard?!?!
trim reset is ctrl+T, which may or may not have been reassigned at some point- and does not work on the SU25's Advanced flight model for version 1.1 and up. YOu might want to read the "read me" and print off the latest key commands.. Need help? Well because the keyboard is a cheap substitute and works thats why we are using it and because I want an enjoyable experience.
A lot of flight sims are actually quite enjoyable even with a keyboard if set up properly which is more than what can be said about it now. So CTRL+T would also reset the stick back to neutral position or did you misread when I called the present keyboard handling just a renamed trim control? Well from what it seems like right now it looks like degrading back to 1.0 is the only option of restoring control and getting a plane that is flyable without having to shell out for a stick that takes up space on the desktop and is rarely used. Too bad the game crashes so often it isn't funny. |
