All right so i have a small issue. Whenever i fly in stormy weather all the ground and landscape textures disappear. I can see some of the mountains but the rest is just gone.
Anyone got a clue why? slaken AKA Javlar Devout swedish simulation-nerd |

Sounds like your memory is being used up. I recall that when I was using my 64mb graphics card, an overcast sky would slow my framerate tremendously. But, now that I have my 512 .. well it's all better. Anyhow, what are the specs on your memory - I'm not sure if it's a RAM problem or a video card problem; but I'm pretty sure it pertains to memory.

I doubt it's my specs that are too low :P
Here they are anyways. Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Geforce 8800 GTS SB X-Fi PC5300 2GB slaken AKA Javlar Devout swedish simulation-nerd |

What are your weather settings for ground fog?
Might be a good idea to post your Graphics/Options settings. And the settings you're using for WX effects too. A little more info would be helpful such as if you can see the ground textures while you're parked on the ground or not. What changes to WX settings you're tried. Those kinds of things. Also a screenshot wouldnt hurt. |

Ok so after a break from LOMAC im back to playing it again and i still have the same problem during stormy and overcast/fog weather conditions.
It might just be that it's meant to look this way but in that case i find it a very weird.. artistic choice At 50 feet or lower i can see the ground texture but that's it, cant see any trees, buildings or anything really. It's all just gray nothingness. Here are a couple of screens, the last with the ground quite close. I underneath the cloud cover so in my mind i should see, even with fog, the ground beneath me or am i wrong? slaken AKA Javlar Devout swedish simulation-nerd |

Does it also look like this if you switch off fog, but keep your overcast clouds?
A while since I flew in overcast clouds and Fog, but I seem to recall that if I had the fog set to very thick, then I could see damn all until I was close enough to slam into the ground. Your HUD seems to show you a couple of thousand feet above the ground, so if you have set the weather to have very thick fog I would imagine you would not see anything. Sorry Death, you lose! How do i change it? slaken AKA Javlar Devout swedish simulation-nerd |
