1.02 always worked fine, i never even had to have the disk in. i just installed flaming cliffs, it installed fine but i cannot play it. whenever i try that starforce **** locks up the computer for about 10 minutes before telling me it cannot read the disk. is there any way around this?
Sounds like you have one of the initial LOMAC GOLD defective CD's.
Contact Evolved for a replacement. They ran a few thousand defective FC (disk #2) packages and rather than do a proper recall- they just let them sit on the shelf and let you figure it out on your own. All the stores knew it too- and I'm sure they went out of their way to warn you.
