I have the lockon CD and flaming cliffs. Shows version 1.02 on altemeter, Have Saitek X52.
1. What do I need to dwn load to ply game offlne.
2. What do I need to dwnload to play online.
3. What do I need to do to get X-52 to work.
When I go to options and try and set weapon to a button on stick it defaults to #32 or 34.
I have dwnloaded a number of profiles but had no luck. Think I neeed to deleat everything and start over.
4. I have teamspeak but don't know what to do to log on with other players.

Nothing, really- but you SHOULD update to FC and patch to 1.12 anyway. FC changed the game a lot- no reason to practice with the wrong info.

Basically you make sure you have a working mic and join a server. Visit squadron websites or jump in hyperlobby and you will find people with TS servers that will help you if they are not in the middle of something. They will give you the IP's and login info you need to join that TS server.

Do u mean I just install the FC CD I have and not the lockon one and then download the 1.12?

Yes just install the second CD. That will put LOMAC FC on your computer- version 1.1.

Then go to www.lockon.ru . Register/login and get patch 1.12b for CD owners

-that's CD OWNERS- not download owners-

When you see the right file- right click/ save as to your desktop. Once you have it there- just double click the desktop icon and it will install on it's own.

Not sure which country you are from jimbo or how you got your Lockon and your Flaming Cliffs. You might have bought the GOLD pack which contains both, or maybe you bought Lockon CD seperately and later bought the Flaming Cliffs CD seperately.

But if you are from a European country you might need a different version of patch if you have the GOLD pack.

The jabog32 site (German site but much is in English) has pretty much every possible version of patch......

A final word - don't get confused about patch v1.12a and v1.12b. the "b" version is exactly the same as "a", except it has some extra stuff for Windows Vista. It doesn't harm an XP system to use v1.12b, although confusingly ( ) when you actually run Lockon:Flaming Cliffs patched with v1.12b it says it is v1.12a

About ready to throw them both in trash!
Tried to load just the FC CD and it said needed to load other one. Did that and then FC. Recevied MSG: "Please remove manually obsolet Lock Version. Then went and deleted ist CD and dwn loaded 1.12 to FC files under programe files. Tried to start came and it said I need the other CD loaded-
Why in the world can one just buy a up to date CD with everthing on it?

Now What

First- uninstall in control panel\ add/remove programs.

Then go into windows explorer under program files and delete the entire leftover LOCK on Folder. If you don't have any other Ubisoft games- just delete the whole Ubisoft folder.

Reinstall- and this time- do them in the correct order. I'm assuming that the cd's are labeled. Then go to that site and get the 1.12b patch for CD owners of LOCK ON GOLD released in the US only. That should do it.

The only other possibility is that you might have one of the first gold sets that were defective. The symptom was being forced to enter some kind of serial number that does not exist.
