I have a Flanker question. I recently re-installed my Flanker 2.51 software. I am trying to program my Saitek X-45 (using the Saitek software) to control my Flanker gameplay. But some of the buttons respond, and some don't.
Is there something I need to eliminate inside Flanker in order for the X-45 to work? In LOMAC, certain key assignments need to be eliminated because they interfere with the X-45. Does something similar apply in Flanker?
Thanks for any help. Not many people are playing Flanker now, but it's still a great old game.
I don't own Flanker- But I would guess that since Lomac and Flanker share so much- you would have to clear all commands that Flanker assigns to your X45 by default.

Hi Konkussion. Kudos on your own very helpful site -- I've visited it often.
I went into the Flanker "test" panel within the game's "options/input" page, and I tested my Saitek for responses. Turns out that the game readme says that it only recognizes four axes and 16 buttons, though you can program each button multiple ways. In other words, the Saitek X-45 apparently has too many input buttons and hats, some of which the game can't recognize. I'll test and post here if I find out more.
