When you are in the ME (mission editor), choose the aircraft you want to change by clicking somewhere on its route or one of its waypoints. If you wish to change your jet, then its route will be shown in white, rather than red or blue. Clicking on it brings up (on the right hand side of th screen) the AIRGROUP PLANNING menu. At the bottom is the ROUTE box. Click on the WPNT button till it shows waypoint 0. Now use the pulldown menu's to ensure that TYPE is TAKEOFF and ACTION is "From Parking Area" (instead of "From Runway"). Save your changes and now when you fly this mission, you should start in the parking area. As always with the ME, be aware that if you have multiple groups of aircraft taking off from the same airbase, they wont necessarily all spawn at the same time.  Sorry Death, you lose!
