You should be able to see the Moon in any season as long as you set the time OK.

To check you do not have some graphics problem that is causing you to not see the moon, use the ME (Mission Editor) to set up a mission....
Season = Summer
Day = 001
Time = 01:00
Airbase = Novorissisjk
Start = Take Off From Runway

I quickly did this with my Lockon v1.02 setup, and when I look to the right out of the cockpit, I see the moon about 10 degrees above the horizon.

Give it a go with your system and see what you can see.....

I tried with your indication, but the moon there is not. I'm 1.12, with 1.02 I can see the moon. How can chek my grafics? thanks

well I uninstall all, mod man too. reinstall lock on 1.0 and iI can see the moon. reboot, reinstal fc and in the same mission I cannot see the moon. How can to do? please help.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the default day is different in FC than v1.02, so maybe the default day in FC is a day with no moon?

Try day = 002, 003, 004, 005 etc etc and see if you can now see the moon. It may be in a different direction from where it is in v1.02 so look all around.
