hi i wanted to add a flyable aircraft to the game so i can shoot a movie....the aircraft is a jointly produced (by China and Pakistan) JF-17 Thunder.....


there is a 3d model of it available to me through a friend and also a cockpit thing.....it is in lightwave 3d format....


i wanted to know how if possible can i add this aircraft to the game?

It's not possible to add 3d models to the game. The 3d models are "hard coded" into the software.

The best you'd be able to do is replace the "skin" of a similar shaped aircraft (the F-5 for example) so that it looked more like the JF-17.

Look through the Skinner's Forum for more about creating custom skins for the aircraft models.

I think it is possible to replace an original LOMAC plane by a new 3D model. We replaced the F-15 with the Red Arrows Bae Hawk. I don't know anything about this though, but you're welcome to visit our forum (www.virtualredarrows.com) and ask the guys over there in the tech/help section.
