Hi,
I have bought the LOMAC, upgraded to the version 1.20, and when I want to attack targets/enemies, I can't. I try to push D button (change weapons), C button (cannon) and Release weapon button, then FIRE (Space) and it does nothing. I think that is not a bug, that I am not experienced in LOMAC. Please tell me more about it.

Have you ever successfully fired cannon, or fired missiles or dropped bombs?


PATCH V1.02 CHANGES
You should know that for US aircraft ONLY, the patch v1.02 changes weapon firing to make it more like the real life aircraft. For US aircraft ONLY, SPACE always fires the canon, ENTER releases rockets / bombs / missiles.
For the Russian aircraft, patch v1.02 made no changes to weapon firing.

No, I couldn't fire with any weapons in patch 1.01 too. I never sucessfully fired. I push the Space and it does nothing... No cannon, no missiles.

Sorry about double posts, but I have one concrete question: Do I need to unlock/activate weapons before use them? Everything except weapons works well.

Typically yes. The Russian planes have a safety that only allows a weapon to be released when the parameters are satisfactory. (missiles & bombs) When you see "LA" or cyrillic "ПР" you can then launch.

Missiles require a specific target to be locked.
Bombs do not - it's simply a "if you let em go now- this is where they hit. Your speed and nose angle play a critical role here.

AFAIK- the US planes do not prevent a launch once you go "weapons hot".

You might be in Nav mode, if you see BARO in the lower left of the American HUD you are in Nav mode. There are several different combat and flight modes, controlled by hitting the numbers keys (1 thru 7). Not sure if being in a navigation mode would prevent firing the weapons.
