Hey cant give too much detail but wondering if anyone could help since the problem has only arose recently. The deal is that whenever I load mt x52 profile my keyboard and mouse dont work properly! My keys on my keyboard give funny commands in lockon for example if I press the escape key it minimizes completely out of the game and I can type any chat.l It also happens with my mouse that my double click to start programs doesnt work. The problem goes if I clear the profile but its pretty useless having the x52 without the profile. Thanks x

Sounds like you have 2 devices trying to send commands. Did you clear ALL of the default X52 button assignments in the lock on input screen?
Click sig- read flight hardware set-up. Read it carefully before proceeding. Also- did you allow the X52 install CD to run ALL the drivers' needed? The "magic mouse & keyboard" are not optional installs if you want to make & use an SST profile. |

I'm not sure I'm following you, but maybe it would be best to start over completely?
If you know the profile works- go into the saitek folder in window's explorer, copy it and save it in My docs or whatever. "profilename.dat" or "profilename.pro" Uninstall the Saitek SST, and remove the leftover folder in windows' explorer. reinstall SST and this time- let it install whatever it needs. As far as LOCK on goes- you shouldn't have to reinstall that unless you did something really dumb. Leave it alone for now. Once you get the SST & drivers reinstalled- follow my lock on setup instructions. You have to clear out the default button assignments FOR YOUR X52 NOT for the keyboard. This means select your controller from the menu before clearing anything. If you left it on "keyboard" and erased commands- you did something really dumb. If this is the case- select keyboard from the device list and press the default button- see if that restores everything. If it does not- smack yourself in the forehead repetitively, then reinstall lock on. |
