Hi, when I set water effect to high or turn on heat blur it does not show up during game play. Can someone give me some advice how to fix this.

You won't see heat blur unless you are flying at less than a certain speed, I cant recall exactly what speed that is, 450Km/h maybe?

You wont see heat blur at all on a slow jet like the A-10 (and also I think Su-25).

Can't help with the water issue. I always have water set to LOW as it has a significant FPS effect on my rig. I rarely fly over the water so there is no point for me having it look pretty.

my graphics card is a geforce4 mx 4000 i have the latest drivers installed along with dx 9 but for some reason the effects will not show up at all does anyone have any advice (preferably something that does not involve getting a new graphics card).
