Has anyone noticed the tendency of the planes to respond like pregnant manatee after the patch.

Even with the settings listed for the axis configuration it can still take a couple of tries to get the plane to turn over (as in the Su-33 quick mission).

Previously the aircraft in general were much more responsive and everything seems to be rest properly with a clean install.

I have one question regarding the new cockpit view in the "no Track IR" profile.
In your former profile the combination was "Num 5" "Num Enter" "F1". Now it is "F7" "F1" "Num Enter".
I am a little puzzled about the "F7", how was it supposed to work?
Or did I miss someting?

Hello Precog,

I am curious about this also.

I tried your profile and noticed that when I hit cockpit view. It seems like it takes about a second or two for the cockpit to center.

This also happens coming from external views. It takes a few seconds to get back to cockpit view after hitting the button. Thanks again for sharing your profile.

I was getting the delayed response you talk about when I was using the NumLock to unlock padlock. I noticed when I re-assigned this to F7 (as mentioned in he installation instructions) the delay dissapeared.

Is there an easy way to clear all the commands in the Lomac configuration? I wasn't able to select more than one command at a time so it's a painfully slow process. Are they loaded via one of the new config files?

Thanks,

Yep ... its painfully slow ... if you back up your key.ini and joystick.ini (whatever its called) then next time you should be able to just copy these back in without having to re-configure everything.

I must be doing something wrong here, this is so strange. Does anyone have any idea ?? Thanks for your help !!

I suggest doing a clean install and following the new instructions Ive written for patch 1.02 as there are differences now. Try this and then let me know how you go.

If you guys know where it is, please inform me Wink

BTW precog - outstanding work on the X45 layout Big Grin

Might be a bug ... Ill test it out and put it back in if so.

I had trouble with the zoom until I decided not to map it to the rotary, which by default its seems to be mapped.... hence causing me a conflict. Try that and let me know how you go.

Might be a bug with the centre view .. Ill check it out now. As with the zoom I had trouble also but finnaly got it to work when I unmapped it from within LOMAC. By default it seems to be assigned to the rotary.

Thanks for the profile Precog!

Everything works great...re-mapped a few things...nice to have a second rotary working.

I cleared the bands in the rotary and that works pretty well. Gets a little jittery at certain points...but works well overall.

Divot, the response on mine was sluggish as well when I applied the patch, as everything went back to the original default. After I tweaked the response on the axis page, it was very nimble.

In case anyone missed it, Teka teka (I think thats how he spells it) has a lua fixed for the trackir, where you can get great head movements for back of the seat views...works great...now you get a 360 view in the cockpit...its a beaut!!

Love this patch!!

Precog, Great job as always! I'm using your trackIR version and it's working better than anticipated! Did have a slight problem with the zoom rotary but after re-reading your doc, that straightened it right out! Seems like even the trackIR is working more fluidly than it did too! Thanks for all the hard work!

Ok let me get this clear. Let's say you have padlock on enemy. To turn it off you hit the cockpit view (F1 F7)?

Isn't F7=Active Ground Objects View?

I still can't get to unlock padlock. Thanks again for the help

Yes.

No - you have to assign F7 to 'unclear padlock' now

-I still can't get to unlock padlock. Thanks again for the help.

Replace NumLock (unclear padlock) with F7. If you need to use Active ground objects then assign it to something else ALT-F7.

thx for updating. For the cockpit view i now use your combination of the former profile as a makro.
(btw, is there a trick to change the time between pressed keys in the makro afterwards?)
And the "new" zoom in 1.02 is a little wired ...
It always shakes a bit in my case so i configured it as buttons on the rotary ...

MusicOn,

Ive got the zoom working perfectly now by not assigning it at all.

The cockpit view combo I use IS a macro with the time between each command quantized to 0.01 sec. To do this click on the little mouse icon and then right click on one of the pressed keys and you'll see an option to 'quantize time'.
