Hi, I need some help please.
I’ve bought LOCK-ON, and I’ve installed all patches, It’s a great game.
Anyway, first time I played it I had some problem with frame-rate.
It was hard even to take off.
So I’ve upgrade my PC and now my specifics are: AMD Sempron 2800+ 1,99 Ghz, 1Gb Ram (two slots with 512Mb each) Radeon X1650 512 Mb, Joystick Logitech with force feedback.
Well, I’m still having problem with frame rate, and with my mental wellness!.
I think you understand. You are in the middle of an hard mission, you have fought like a mad for ten minutes and now you are in sight of last target. What the hell: when you start final attack frame rate drop down to 1 or 2, and you stop concentrating, but suddenly frame rate gain just a little enough to crash your A10 in front of the final target: I’m going crazy!
I’ve tried to set graph in high mode (water included), than in low mode: It’s still the same.
Now frame rate drop down less than before upgrading, but it still happen!
What I have to do to solve the problem?
Have I some ghost in my PC, need ad exorcist?
Please, help me or I’ll shot my PC!

List your screen resolution and the Options/Graphics settings you are using.
Does this happen with all missions? Or just a certain mission. All weapons or just the gun?
Does the same thing happen using different aircraft & missions (Air-to-air for example)?

Resolutions 1024x768 32 bit
Setting all high (i've tried to keep settings all low, but nothing change!).
It happens in all mission and campaign, most of all usign gun (I've only proved A10 till now), but sometimes it happens even in nav mode!

I don't think your CPU/GPU combination will support high settings.
Test the medium settings with water set to low, haze to basic and effects to low in graphics. In the Cockpit options turn off mirrors and reflections.
If you're happy with the performance at that level you can upgrade graphic options one at a time to see if you can still get acceptable performance. Try some free-flight missions without using the gun and other munitions. Once you're able to fly the plane OK on the graphics options you've chosen you can go back and check the gun and explosion issues.

The gun smoke and explosion effects could be a problem as well. You may need to use one of the many add-on mods that help fix those type problems. http://www.lockonfiles.com/ is one place where you can get those FPS tweaks.
