Hi.
I have just learned how to use the F15 powerful radar system, and i must say it is far better (for me at least) than the Su and Mig radar system. But for some reason i can oly fire the Aim-120 and aim-7 from about 15nm away! As far as I know medium ranged missiles should go a lot further than that. Because of that, every bvr fight allways leads into a dogfight. Because of that i have big poblems in the second mission of the F15 camapagin, because i have to dogfight two mig19s. Not an easy task i tell you.

The missiles in LOMAC are all screwed up- especially the AMRAAM. But you can improve range by increasing altitude. The porked modeling of it's flight physics mean that firing from a range much more than what you're doing means almost no chance of a hit. You'll do better against real opponents- the AI know exactly when you fired- even if a real opponent would not have any way to know. (i.e. a TWS engagement)
