After i edit the Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Config\View.cfg and cockpit.cfg files, the views on the training missions are all screwed up.
How can I fix this and also be able to have mouse view inside the cockpit when I am in missions?

Just don't touch the mouse while you're in a training mission. I think it worked for me... Or just change it around a few times. It's not that much trouble, is it?

Tracks (including training tracks) are very sensitive to the patch version they were made on / the patch version they are played back on. Occasionally you dont get a problem, mostly you do. The reason is that to keep the size of tracks to be small files that were easy for folks to post on forums - a track just keeps the minimum of data, key presses etc. The downsize is the sensitivity to patch levels.


What some folks do is run through all the training several times beofre they patch up or mod their Lockon installation.
Others will have 2 copies of their Lockon installation - one left untouched for training purposes, the other that they Mod up and use for regular flying.
Still others will instead rely on training movies - all the lockon training has been made into movies and if you have the sisk space and broadband to D/L them, that is a reasonable way to go.
