not strictly related no lock on, but lock on is in the ultimate flight collection.

What are the minimum system requirements for The Ultimate Flight Collection? The website says it requires a Pentium with 4.24 GHz, but the fastest Pentiums are only 3.73 GHz. Can it be run on an Intel Core2 Duo processor with 1.67 GHz? What about an Intel 945GM graphics card?

Hi tolchok2007;
You're right - the Ubi.com site does make it look like it needs a 4.24Ghz Pentium.
I thought that Pacific Fighers might have the most demanding hardware requirements so I checked its website. Ubi.Com Pacific Fighters

What I found there was this requirement:
System Requirements:
* Supported OS: Windows® 98/ME/XP/2000 (only)
* Processor: Pentium® III or AMD Athlon™ 1 GHz (Pentium 4 2.4 GHz recommended)
* RAM: 512 MB (1 GB recommended)
* Video Card: DirectX® 9 compliant w/ 64 MB RAM (128 MB recommended) (see supported list)*
* Sound Card: DirectX 9 compliant
* DirectX Version: DirectX 9 or higher (included on disc)
* CD-ROM: 4X CD-ROM or better
* Hard Drive Space: 1.1+ GB
* Multiplayer: Broadband Internet connection

*Supported Video Cards at Time of Release
* ATI® Radeon™ 7000/8000/9000/X families
* NVIDIA® GeForce™ 256/2/3/4/FX/6 families
* Matrox Parhelia™
* Intel® GMA 925X/915P/915G chipsets

So it looks like the recommended spec is a P4 running at 2.4Ghz.
A C2D 1.67Ghz is quite a bit more powerful than a P4 2.4Ghz.
Im not sure if the Intel 945GM graphics built-in chipset will handle the games as well as a full size graphics card. Past history has shown that basic laptop graphics didnt do well.

The best way to go about testing start out with the sound turned off and turn all the graphics options down to the very lowest settings.

In the graphics options put all graphics options on the lowest setting to start out and turn off the Full Screen button. It's OK to leave the Resolut (resolution) to your laptops standard 1024x768 or 1280x1024.

If it runs at the lowest settings you can turn on the sound and start turning up the graphics options till you find out what works, and what doesnt.

Let us know how you make out.
