What happens if you first open notepad, and then click File > Open and look up the file and open it that way? Or simply just opening Notepad and then draging the file into the actual notepad? It should open just fine by doing that... :S

Yep, the filepath is exactly the same, but only the one file. I tried opening it from notepad too, that didn't work. Finally your suggestion to drag the file into it did work. However, the game still did not work. All this after I spent a month and a half playing it.

Too bad. =/ Well, I have one more suggestion. instead of "aOpenAL", try "NoSound". That should make the game totally silent, and if it doesn't, then you're in the wrong file and editing...

Hi,I've played this game and finished it once.but now when i'm trying to play it again the game starts very slowly and have much lag.at the first time it was ruuning perfectly with highest video options.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. Chapter III stagecoach getaway easy mode none of the riders that are chasing the stagecoach get close enough to get a shot off with either Ray or Thomas. I got past it with Ray by tossing dynamite out the stagecoach windows at certain intervals. Anyone else have this problems?

I also am having a problem with the sound, and It's not just with call of juarez bib. The sound and music is very stuttery. Problem with my sound card maybe? I hope it's an easy fix here are my system specs
2.7 ghz proccessor
geforce 8400 gt 512 mb video card
1.5 ghz ram

Its really annoying getting bugged when shooting enemy with even heavy rifle, sometimes several shots, without enemy taking damage. See many players experience this too and the chat being filled up with complains from frustration. Will the pach fix this issue. Had to close the server and write this because Im quite fed up by this problem accuring way to often. It is sometimes really bad guys and really destroying the fun for a lot of players. Get on it please!!!

Hi,) Had the same problem on my smaller pc. Then the enemy riders seemed to not get close but I still got killed. I tried on my game-pc, now the enemys showed up at both siden of the wagon and I could kill them quite easely. Seemed like something was missing in my acer notebook, like direct X was not good enough, or graphics card too small. Its a Radeon 3100 on that pc. Now on game-pc I got Radeon 4870 and the enemy appeared just fine. Invisible enemies was a pc-capability prob for me there. Gues u have the same prob m8

Crashtime...The "NoSound" edit in audio file is the only way for me 2 get this game working(after patch,b4 was fine)

Yes I'm having problems to after installing official patch.

My game will now not even load, get the Ubisoft screen, then techland and Chrome engine, then just a black screen. This is the same problem I had when I bought the game back in July.

I just wish Ubisoft or techland were more active on this forum.

Yea it really does suck that I spent money on a game that wont even work on system specs it's supposed to work. Maybe I'll have more luck on my Commodore 64.....
