Hi! I Bought End War last weekend and the game is great. I just have one problem, the game keeps crashing occasinaly. I can play only few matches until it crash. I have tried changing settings and updated drivers, but it still keeps crashing. Does anyone have a even smallest idea what may occur this?

I have the same issue. Although I can go hours without one crash and play through 8-10 games. Other times I'll crash in 5 games in a row right away. It's costed me about 12 losses because it doesn't crash me until the Victory counter is soon to pop up or has already been up for a minute or so.

Really sucks...I want my money.

There's no exact time when the error appears. It changes from 2 matches to even 5 matches and only when I'm playing not when I'm in the main menu or in that world map in campaign. It just crash to desktop without the reason in the middle of the match and gives me an error:

Run it with admin proviledges. It should work fine withour XP compatibility settings. Tell me, how does the sound go when it crashes? If you have the X-fi card, you made need to use Alchemy. For me, it doesn't crash, but the sound stutters when I switch view panes, like if the General is breifing me and I start the mission. Otherwise, absolutely no problems. I was suprised version 1.0.0.0 was so stable while for other games, they're on their 8th patch and I get crashes.

I remember reading somewhere in tech forum that the game was made for vista and its not recommened to run it on XP. But they are working on something that makes it more stable for the XP OS

No idea when the fix is coming though.

I too am getting this crash. It waits untill I am winning the battle and back to the desktop I go! I am using x86 windows xp. I see that the game has been patched since many of you started having your problems. It was fine untill turn 15 or so. has anyone found a soultion?

It is a shame. I had such high hopes for this game. But now that it refuses to let me play any missions at all, I guess it is time to boycotting Ubisoft again. This is worse than the snafu with Silent Hunter4. The game is completely unplayable over night. Never again will Ubisloth get another penny of mine.

I am using Vista with SP2 and athe the 4th of 5th mission the game feezes on mission start (it's the save the pentagon mission) any clues?

To get some deeper help with this, you really should start this thread at the EndWar Technical Help - PC forum part, aswell as you should give abit more information about your computers, its really hard to solve a problem when you dont even give out the spec. You should also spec out your DirectX Diagnostic as it will help and provide the Technical Support with data which can be of help when working on a possible fix.

To post DirectX Diagnostic information do the following.

1. Click Start
2. Click Run (if you are on Vista, click into the 'Search Textfield')
3. Type DXDIAG then press ENTER
4. When the DirectX Diagnostic loads, click the "Save All Information" Button.
5. Save the text file to your desktop
6. Locate the text file on your desktop and double-click the file to open it
7. Click on Edit
8. Click on Select All
9. Click on Edit
10. Click on Copy (make sure all of the text is highlighted when you click Copy)
11. Right-click into the textfield of your forum post and click on Paste

Another thing, make sure you have the laest drivers for your soundcard, chipset and graphiccard as it may help solve problem with weak drivers.
