or is it only me?

One of the general re-occurring themes I'm starting to understand from these forms is that unless you've been lucky enough to be accepted into the pre-beta testing were basically just waiting for the beta.

Anyone else coming into this excited but completely virginal to the HOMM universe?

Just out of interest, what attracted you to HOMMK?

I recently quit wow and was looking for a decent mmorpg to replace the addiction. A friend told me (well, more like hissed) about a mutual friend who had been accepted into the beta of an mmorpg game I had never heard of. Checked out a couple of youtube videos, did some reading and with a bit of net searching ended up finding the beta registration site.

Me likes the look of Heroes of Might and Magic Thumbs Up

well what attracted me? I totally love HoMM... developping a char, lvling him up giving him items combined with strategic fighting, taking control of the lands: awesome.

And I always asked myself what could be more awesome... yeah this game online cause I'm a really competitive gamer... and now this could become true Smile The only thing I don't really like is the fighting system.. ok it would have been very hard to maintain the original fighting system... but well... Maybe someday they do a clientbased game with that kind of feature Wink
