Dunno if this is just me.. but this sounds like a lead on to HoMM6.. we might be fed about stuff that is about to happen in HoMM 6 and such.. dunno, could just be me..

I don't see connection between an ubisoft HoMM online game and HoMM6 :/

...Homm6 would be a RTS "kingdom" game. That would be great, but it really doesn't match in the Homm series doesn't it?

Well considering that it will be set in the HoMMv universe, and there was a talk of quests, i could imagine it could be a subtle way of building some interest into HoMM6, especially considering that it is free.

Well, hopefully HoMM6 will not be a RTS - but maybe Ubisoft is testing their server infrastructure and/or some net-code.
