I am pleased to announce that as of today, March 16th, TWL has opened a Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter power ladder for signups with the ladder being open for competition on Monday, March 20th.

For those of you who are not familiar with TWL, TWL has been around since 2001. We are a major league, and we are featured on americasarmy.com. Since 2001, TWL has ammassed over 500,000 registered players with that number increasing daily. Just recently we have entered console gaming and competing with Halo 2 and have now moved on to Xbox 360 with Perfect Dark Zero and Ghost Recon.

Our power ladder is very flexible and allows teams to pick their own dates/times, game configuration, and match roster size.

I have known TWL for many years now and was part of their MechWarrior 4 and Ghost Recon PC ladders. TWL has always been the ladder I preferred due to what Masta Chef mentions above.

I also found that some of the big XBL ladders out there prefer active teams over skilled teams. This is the case for one of the most popular ladders for XBL, which I will not name here.

Some teams play every night and the more games you play, more points you get. Is this fair for teams that can’t as much due to real life?

Also, they allow higher rank teams to challenge lower rank teams. So if you know your team has better skilled then another, you are allowed to challenge them for an easier win.

So if your team plays every night and you win against less skilled teams, you might be at the top of the ladder. But is that how you want to get there?

At TWL, it’s simple. Want to move up, got to beat a higher ranked team then you.

Anyway, this is just my 2 cents.

So if you want an alternative, TWL is a heck of a good one!!!

Note: Could an admin pin this topic and unpin the GR PC Power Ladder since it has been closed. I am sure TWL will have another GR PC Power Ladder when GR:AW comes out on PC.

Oh and another aspect I find it much simpler with TWL is how you register and join your team compared to lots of hoops of other laders.
