To make GR more realistic it would be gr8 to be able to deactivate enemy activity on the command map. That way you could still use the command map to orientate and strategy, but you would not get any prewarning of enemy activity in the area.

go to \GhostRecon\Data\Shell\Art and open up that cmi.rsb. On that you'll see the icons for players and vehicles. Just remove those and the alpha'd part for em and you're good to go.
if you download WOI-MP (www.warofinfamy.com) its got a modified cmi.rsb already.
