Does anyone KNOW if the default blue HUD color is in fact: an overlay, scripted color settings, or hard coded? I know you can add color to the various HUD asset/elements but they are always mixed/filtered and fouled by the default blue color... How do I go about getting the blue out? Or can I?

Try Ghost Recon/Data/Shell folder. If you got the .rsb plugin, you can find the .rsb's (yes, they are only textures, surprise!) in there, and edit them. I would hop over to http://www.ghostrecon.net and find the tutorial on modifying alpha layers. Oh yeah, make backups!

Flanker562, I know how to edit the RSB files, have the plugin, know where they are... The problem is there is the blue overlay color that is not a part of any HUD RSB I can find, or a setting in any of the script files.

Well, considering I can scroll up to read the post, I probably know what the hell you said.
But anyways, it looks like it's hardcoded no? Eric Johnson Flanker 2.51 Section: http://562.50megs.com/index.htm GR Spot: http://562.50megs.com/GR/index.htm LOMAC Section: http://562.50megs.com/LOMAC/index.htm Lock On Forum Moderator |
