I am trying to make a small voice-over mod using the existing F_Voice_1 folder, files and .xml file but cannot get IGOR to reconcile the files with the .xml file. After opening IGOR and going File>Mods then select my mod and Set AS Default Mod for Editor I go to Tools>Sound Volume Editor and send it to the folder where the new files are. As soon as I send it there IGOR locks up. I have tried to send it to the original files and have taken the original files to the new mod folder and both work aslong as the .xml files are in the right place. I can't work out what it's so different between the original .wavs and the new .wavs I recorded.
Any help would be much appreciated. |

That may have to do with the file format. Even when I try to set up the format the same way as the game files it doesn't seem to work. What I do now is take an existing game wav file, open it in a sound editor, open the sound file I want to use and copy it, then paste it into the game wav, delete the original part of file leaving only my sound, then save as a NEW name.
A roundabout way, but it makes sure you have the proper file type. |
