Hi everyone that can help me....I somewhat know how to use igor but my only problem is how do u turn the stationary around. when i place them they set facing the right. how do i turn them around????

You use CTRL to place the stationary.

To change the direction of the stationary hold SHIFT and click in the direction you want it to face...

alright now i got the problem of my game crashing when i try my new altered map???? i turned off the actors so there is isnt n e enemies is that the problem???? lemme know

how do i change the spwning point????

Not sure what the problem is with the crashing of GR.

I suggest you do drop at least one actor in. Just to be sure that's not it.

Also, which map did you alter and what exactly did you alter...?

Changing spawnpoints:

If you just want to change the location of the points, you can drag them to another spot. Click on one of the corners and drag.
You'll see that it becomes bigger. You just have to do the same with one of the other corners of the spawnpoint to make it smaller again.

I believe you can also make them yourselve, but I never did it like that, so can't really advise you how to do it like that.

Did dl any tutorials?

i tried to alter creekbed and castle day??? i think i ACCIDENTALLY took out all the actors

If you are editing missions, copy them first and change them.

About deleting Ubi game-server, try All Seeying Eye instead, more stable servers, more serious players.

I started with UBI too, but it crashed too many times, even with my cable connection.

Then I used Gamespy for a long while, more stable, but most rooms are clan-rooms, you get kicked out because you're not from their clan.

Then I heard about The All Seeying Eye, still using it.

There's no problem with not having any enemies on a map. You can wander round a totally empty map if you really want to. So that won't be what caused your crash, although I don't know what else would have. You should always save your mission as another filename whenever you edit an existing mission (so you don't overwrite any game files). I also always name the mission something different too.

For the spawn points, I assume from the context that you're talking about the insertion zone in single player? If so, you can move the existing zone as pme descirbed, or you can place a zone wherever you want it, and then in the bottom right corner of the screen, you can scroll down to two check boxes: Insertion and Extraction. Tick either (or both) or these to register the zone as an insertion or extraction zone and get them to appear on the command maps.

All you keep hearing is about a patch? A patch? There are already 4 in total.

As far as I have understood, you only need the last two patches...

1.3.5.0 and 1.4.0.0

pme is right, and the 1.3 one comes with IT.

So if you got DS + IT you only need the 1.4 one.

This patch fixes several things (don't know what), and it puts the limping back (walk of wounded !), cause that's been removed in the 1.3 patch if I'm right.

BE AWARE (lol), all mission made before 1.4 are not working anymore with the new patch, or not fully working. Most mods have been updated after the patch.

For playing MP you need the 1.4 patch, cause all servers got it.
