and if so how?

TIA from an ultimate modding newbie.

I'm thinking of getting into modding because I haven't run into any mods that make good use of the Refinery and Vilnius maps. I'd like to set up some intense firefights in Refinery and turn Vilnius into a killing field. Both standard missions were too easy.

igro should be installed already in the program files/redstorm entertainment/ghost recon folder

As far as I know you cannot install IGOR seperately form GR. I believe at automaticly gets installed when you install the game. If you would un-install the game, you'll also un-install IGOR.

As for the modding part....there are many tutorials out there who can help you a great deal in making your own mission. Use your imagination and try to turn that into scripting!

If you have any questions regarding scripting or whatever, you can get them here (most of the time )

Thanks for the welcome to the Mods forum, Reg. I'm used to having game installs ask you if you want to install the "game editor". I found the IGOR Basic Manual and the Advanced one too.

I'll start by trying to modify a mission. And I'll see if I can learn "scripting". He||, I work as a programmer, you'd think I could catch on!

By the time I get good, GR2 will be out. I just hope that some of the skills learned from modding GR will help in modding GR2.

just remember...never replace the original files, a new mod is so easy to make and there is no sence in replacing the original mission or file of any kind.
